It seems some of Putin's cronies are waffling and committing suicide. One beat himself unconscious then hanged himself, and another one stabbed himself repeatedly then threw the knife across the room.

Yes, and he's not looking good. The 13 foot table is back and he's walking with a limp. The picture of him at Russian Orthodox services on Easter was a renewal with some modifications of the 2021 service. Several disparate news organizations posted the pictures side by side.
I'm not saying someone is, but somebody could be slowly poisoning him. He's going down hill fairly quick. He's not that much older than me but I'm staying about the same.
