To all my fellow vets, thank you for your service and sacrifices, here on Veteran's Day. Remember the fallen and stand behind those who served and those that are currently watching our backs. Remember all the families of past and current veterans.

Imagine trying to make that movie today. People would be attacking it on Fakebook, Twitter users would be ranting and you can bet there would be lawsuits.
Yea, well those same people can kiss my hairy pimply arse, too!

Just saw this today and thought I would post it. I was on this carrier for 4 years. Good times and bad times. It is the end of an era:

That is crazy that they will build it with millions of tax payer dollars but then when its time to take it out of service they just give it away. That salvage company just made a fortune

We left over $80billion worth of equipment in Afganistan with no thought at all. That salvage company will make millions off the scrap metal. I have been all over that ship from the bowels where the propeller shafts are and all the way up to the signalman's spot on top area of bridge. I have flown on and off that carrier in planes, jets and helicopters. I used to jog on the flight deck in the mornings if there was no flight ops. It was the next to last diesel powered carrier. Was CV63 and the next one was CV64 USS Constellation.

My account pic is the Kitty Hawk that I shot a pic of in the Gulf of Tonkin from a helicopter.

My original political sarcastic thought was, hmmm shocked Biden didn’t just sail to Afghanistan and give it to the Taliban. :ROFLMAO:
