Upgrade from 26 to 32 gallon fuel tank?

Hi. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic with 3.6 engine. I’d love to upgrade from 26 to a 32 gallon tank.
My truck is an SLT crew cab with 5’ 7” bed. I see fancier ones with larger tanks but same size truck. I have plenty of forward room too. Thanks for any advice. Herb

You can do the physical upgrade. However your truck will still be configured for the26 gallon tank so your gauge will be off.

Dodge can reprogram your pcm to recognize the extra gallons for an accurate fuel guage.
